Young Dolph was shot multiple times outside of a Hollywood hotel last year.

Dolph's Memphis rival Yo Gotti and his crew were staying in the same hotel and Gotti associate Corey McClendon was arrested for attempted murder shortly after the shooting. He was subsequently released without charges because of a lack of evidence.

Dolph spoke on the shooting in a new interview with The Guardian.

"I knew I was shot one time, but I didn’t know I was shot three times: two in the leg, and one in the arm," Dolph told The Guardian. “I saw so much blood coming out, and I sat up against the wall. I really was paranoid because I didn’t know if I was dehydrated or whatnot, from drinking lean.”

Although the wounds were never deemed life-threatening,  Dolph ended up spending two weeks in the hospital.

“I thought I was going to be there about two days. I was just like, forget about this motherfucker and head back to doing my shit. "I’ve been targeted since I was 17, 18, 19,” he explained. “I just knew that I was good."

Gotti has said he had nothing to do with the shooting and argues that Dolph has been playing up a beef between the two of them for "marketing."
