Young Dolph Addresses Alleged Beef with Yo Gotti

by Sermon

Memphis rappers Young Dolph and Yo Gotti have a rocky relationship. Depending on the day, who knows what kind of answer you'll get out of Dolph when he talks about the situation. The one thing that's certain is Yo Gotti was interested in signing Dolph when he was first starting out. However, Dolph declined because he had invested so much into his own brand, Paper Route Empire.

In the last month, things got a little interesting on Dolph's side. First, he released his debut album, titled King Of Memphis. It could be seen as a slight to Gotti who refers to himself as the KOM in his Twitter handle and bio. Dolph also tweeted a subliminal that suggests Gotti is his biggest hater.

Today, Young Dolph stopped by Hot 97 to break down the history between him and Yo Gotti and why he named his debut album what he did. He explains that he's not calling himself the King of Memphis, but uses it in a way that describes him and his team. "All my partners King, everybody got some paper, everybody move like I move, and they morals and all of that," he said.
