According to Young Buck, 50 Cent used Buck's misadventures with a transgendered catfisher to cover up the fact he was trying to take his royalties checks.
"It gave him leverage to mask the real issues between us were about," he said told VladTV about 50 jokes about him and the male-to-female. " We were having issues at the time in regards to Sound Exchange, the company that pays out the royalties on music. They had reached out to 50 and told 50 that going forward I was going to receive my own 33.3%. They had three years of checks that hadn't been cashed since 2015. They reached out to me and wondered why I hadn't been cashing them checks. I said 'what checks?' Buck explained.
So Buck had his lawyers look into it. Apparently, his royalty checks had been going to G-Unit Inc since 2007. Once 50 was informed by Sound Exchange he would no longer be getting Buck's royalty checks, he cut Buck off and started calling him "gay" to distract from his brutal business tactics.
"From that moment, 50 blocked me from Instagram, I'm sure his phone numbers as well and everything the world sees now started to play out. He used that sh*t to get a laugh and to mask our business issues."
