DMX finished his latest bid, a 12-month sentence for tax evasion, in January.
He closed out the year by reminding everyone jail isn't anything new for him by posting a throwback prison photo in which he's so young you can barely recognize him.
"This jail sh*t ain’t nothin new," he typed.
DMX has struggled a bit since his latest release and spent time in rehab as a preventive measure.
He got out recently and has been performing this week in Las Vegas.
