Yo Gotti Explains How He Lost All That Weight

It could be due to getting older and now caring about their health. Or, maybe they received some advice from their doctor. 

Either way, it seems that more people from the rap community are shedding weight these days. 

Action Bronson and Mustard are good examples since both look a lot slimmer now.

Yo Gotti also dropped some weight. About 50 pounds, in fact. He spoke about it on the Men’s Health series Gym & Fridge and explained how he did it.

“My diet changed a lot,” said Gotti. “I used to drink a lot of sodas, eat a lot of cakes and junk food. So I got rid of all that. It’s a lot more greenery and vegetables, and even the sweets I eat are prepared by my chef, which is way, way better for my health. It really helped me lose like 50 pounds ... I never been on a specific type of diet, I just tried to stop eating bad and start eating healthy. A lot of things I do, though, is calorie count, I think that’s what helped me a lot. For the last year, I tried to count my calorie intake and that seems to be the best results that I get.”

Besides changing his diet, Gotti says that he does about 45 minutes on the bike machine every morning as well.
