YNW Melly's Lawyer Says Melly's On the Verge Of Dying From COVID-19

YNW Melly is trying to pull a Tekashi 6ix9ine and get out of prison because of Coronavirus.

Last week, Melly announced that he caught COVID-19 while in prison awaiting his double murder trial.

TMZ has obtained legal docs filed by his lawyer Bradford Cohen which detail the extent of Melly's symptoms.  According to the docs, Melly is down to 114 pounds, is suffering from severe chills, heavy labored breathing, headaches, and body aches and isn't being checked on every hour by prison officials, like he's supposed to be.

In addition, he's in a cell with another COVID-19 sufferer and there is a concern "the virus can be mutated or passed reoccurring between individuals."

While the virus tends not to have such harsh effects on a 20-year old like Melly, there have been some cases of people Melly's age being hospitalized or even dying from the virus.

Melly has been locked up for over a year and still doesn't have a trial date.
