Florida's first attempt to charge YNW Melly with the first-degree murder of his YNW crewmates Juvy and Sakchaser ended in a mistrial.
Melly is still locked up without bail and will be retried in September 2025.
The locked-up part could end very soon.
The judge in YNW Melly's double-murder case is expected to rule on whether the rapper is freed on bond in the coming days.
The prosecution has opposed the motion to (temporarily) free Melly, citing that Melly is charged with two capital murders and also accused of witness tampering while in jail.
According to Melly's lawyers, if he is granted bond, he will be placed under house arrest, wear an ankle monitor, and hire security to monitor him at all times.
