YG addressed reports that a vehicle in his name was involved in a shooting and homicide.
LAPD responded to a reckless DUI call on Wednesday and had a shootout with the occupants of a Cadillac Escalade. An innocent bystander was killed during the shooting. An officer was also struck with a bullet and suffered minor injuries and the occupants of the vehicle fired on police cars and a helicopter. Police discovered the vehicle was registered to YG after they ran the plates.
But the 4Real 4Real rapper — who's friend Slim 400 was recently shot —said he had nothing to do with the shootout and didn't even know about it until later.
"I was nowhere near the scene of this incident and had been in a recording studio all day in Hollywood," he told TMZ. "I was there until after midnight on the Fourth of July and didn't learn of these events until after they happened."
