Last night, YG took NYC by storm with the first showing of his Blame It On The Streets movie. The response from fans and the media was positive. The half hour film was written by YG himself.
"It's basically life behind two records off My Krazy Life album," he said of the movie's concept. (Those two records are "BPT" and "Meet The Flockers.") After it was shown, Elliott Wilson held a Q&A with the rapper that touched on how he wrote the film, his inspiration for the project and more.
Additionally, No I.D. took the stage and delivered some words of appreciation for what YG has accomplished this year. For someone who mainly stays out of the public's eye, No I.D.'s words were great to hear.
Get the movie and soundtrack on December 15.
