Yelawolf's 'Love Story' Posts Decent First Week Numbers

by HHL Editors

It used to be that a 61,360 debut was nothing to write home about.

But things have changed, and that number represents a pretty good first week for Yelawolf's sophomore album Love Story.

It's a little better than Tyler, The Creator’s Cherry Bomb (56,172) and Action Bronson's Mr. Wonderful (49,000) did earlier this month in their debut weeks. But it's not as good as the 100,245 Wale’s The Album About Nothing was able to move.

It's also better than Yela's debut album, Radioactive, which sold 41K units in its first seven days.

Love Story will be third on the album charts this week, according to Hits Daily Double.

Coming fourth is the Drake sensation, If You're Reading This, It's Too Late. The album/mixtape moved 25,645 copies in its first full week as a physical release after going platinum as a digital-only entity.
