On June 18, 2018, XXXTentacion was gunned down in a 2017 Black BMW i8 after leaving the Riva Motorsports motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida 

As of now, the car is evidence. But his mom Cleopatra Bernard is asking the state of Florida to return the car because she “has been informed that the vehicle sitting in storage without being driven and maintained will cause extensive damage to it.”

If Bernard's request goes through, lawyers for the men currently being accused of killing XXX will have until February 28 to inspect the vehicle as part of their defense, and then the car will be turned over to the family.
