The 2017 XXL Freshman Class is here.
They are Kyle, Aminé, Ugly God, Playboi Carti, PnB Rock, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Madeintyo, Kap G, Kamaiyah and 10th Spot winner XXXTentacion.
The 10th Spot is selected by online voting, whereas XXL editors make the other picks after consulting with rappers and industry tastemakers.
The young artists will appear at a Freshman show at New York City’s PlayStation Theater on Wed., June 28. The Los Angeles XXL Freshman show will take place on Wed., July 14 at The Novo.

Last year's Freshman Class was 21 Savage, Anderson .Paak, Lil Dicky, Lil Uzi Vert, G Herbo, Desiigner, Dave East, Denzel Curry, Kodak Black, and the fan-voted pick Lil Yachty.
