WTF? Mitt Romney Is Boxing Evander Holyfield Tonight

by HHL Editors

Granted, the whole Mayweather-Pacquiao debacle has soured us a bit on boxing.

But this is still pretty fascinating: Tonight, former heavyweight champ Evander Holyfield is boxing 2012 Republican nominee for president Mitt Romney. It's part of a black tie charity event to raise money to fight blindness in developing countries, and we imagine Holyfield isn't going to go all out.

Still, it's pretty ballsy for Mitt to get in the ring with the champ, given that the former Massachusetts governor is 68 and has never been a professional boxer. We will give him this: Romney is in fantastic shape for a man his age.

Romney weighed in at 179 pounds, and the 52-year old Holyfield tipped the scales at 236 pounds.

No biting!
