By Sermon

Today marks the fifth anniversary of Wiz Khalifa's  break-out mixtape, Kush & OJ. Prior to the classic tape, he was just an underground sensation. But Kush & OJ propelled The Taylor Gang leader into a whole new world and started his ascent into the star he is today.

Speaking to MTV, Wiz reflects on his state of mind going into the project and explained that he wanted to create a classic on the level of some of his rap idols. Wiz also noted that the anniversary snuck up on him since he doesn't pay attention to dates like that.

For old times sake, listen to Kush & OJ, which is below the MTV video.
