Wiz Khalifa Has Angered Twitter With Memorial Day Tweet

by HHL Editors

Like many of us, Wiz Khalifa celebrates Memorial Day by getting f-ed up and stuffing his face with food.

However, he made that point in a way that could be viewed as insensitive to the original purpose of the holiday, which is to remember those who died while serving in the country's armed forces.

When you get my age Memorial Day is about getting shit faced by the pool, eatin Bbq and not rememberin shit so...Yea.

Twitter backlashed against Wiz's words.

@wizkhalifa You are a real dumbass. If it wasn't for our soldiers you wouldn't have the freedom to do any of those things. They protect us from this pic.twitter.com/Yhbwvlo4vJ

Wiz tried to clarify a bit, but we doubt that effort is going to please his critics.

Didn't mean anything rude, that was just my way of saying sometime people rather focus on the good times than the bad.

This isn't Wiz's first time through the outrage machine. In March, he pissed off the nation of Colombia by placing flowers on Pablo Escobar's grave.

Does he deserve this trip to Twitter's doghouse?
