Wiz Khalifa Has The First Hip Hop Video to Reach One Billion Views

By Sermon

One billion views on Youtube is a rare club composed of names like Justin Bieber, PSY, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and a few others. Up until about a week ago, nobody in hip-hop had reached the milestone. If you would've thought someone like Drake or Eminem would become first, you'd be wrong.

Wiz Khalifa's 'See You Again' a heartfelt tribute record for Paul Walker off Furious 7's soundtrack, just passed the billion views marker. To be exact, the video hasĀ 1,004,350,672 views. Congratulations to Wiz! Do you think 'See You Again' would have got to 10 figures if Eminem and 50 Cent had recorded the track?
