Do you remember 2009? It was the year that Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y changed their careers forever with the classic mixtape How Fly. Since then, fans have constantly pestered the two to do a sequel, but that hasn't been on the agenda. Instead, we got Live In Concert a couple years ago, and now they've announced a new project, a collaborative mixtape called #2009.
The pair have a lot on their plate: Wiz is also doing an EP with Ty Dolla $ign, while Spitta is releasing Pilot Talk 3 on April 4 and touring. But last month they said they would also be releasing #2009 soon.
While you wait for the whole tape to drop, the duo released the Sledgren-produced "Uber Driver" that'll be on #2009. Listen below and also catch up on How Fly.
