Will.i.am Is The Most Repetitive Rapper, According To In Depth Analysis

by HHL Editors

On the website Rap Analysis, music theorist Martin Connor takes a very technical look at Hip Hop. It's a great read if you are into that type of thing.

In his latest post, he ranks the 23 Most Repetitive Rappers using an algorithm that scanned all of their output for repeated words.

No surprises with the top three -- will.i.am, Pitbull and Lil Jon -- who are way out in front of everybody else. But Kid Cudi at fourth is something we would not have guessed.

Connor conceded that the guy who did the database for him wasn't much of a rap fan, and might have missed a few artists. For example Birdman, Lil B and Mike Jones weren't analyzed.

And what about Migos, whose lyrics are often bashed for being basic? Actually, the trio scored a 1.92, putting them in the middle of the pack.

Connor says he is putting together a list of the least repetitive rappers. Any guesses on who they may be?
