Webbie will avoid jail time for choking and beating his ex-girlfriend in July 2017.

On Thursday the rapper pled guilty to the misdemeanor charge of simple battery and received one-year probation. He'll have to do 20 hours of community service, complete anger management classes, pay his ex $5,000 in restitution and pay $500 in court fees.

He was originally charged with second-degree battery, false imprisonment and domestic abuse by strangulation.

The judge's decision in the rapper's case comes several months after he had to end one of his concerts early after gunfire rang out. Thankfully, nobody was seriously injured.

In regards to his domestic abuse case, do you think he should've gone to jail?
