We Now Know How The Drake Tory Lanez Beef Was Squashed

The medium key feud between Drake and Tory Lanez heated up because of an area code.

In 2015, Lanez called Drake out as corny for calling the Toronto "The 6."

Like many others from Canada's largest city, Drake does so because its main area code is 416.

So it seems appropriate the beef would end with a phone call.

According to TMZ, a call was placed by one of Tory's boys to one of Drake's and then the intermediaries put both rappers on the line.

That led to the NYC meet up from which Drake and Tory made their duel IG posts.

The city needs more of this and less of that. 6️⃣
