Two would-be thieves pulled up on an LA man in purples shorts and what looks like a Lonzo Ball jersey as he was talking to two females.
While they may have thought he was an easy mark, purple shorts turned out to have the quickest draw in the West.
22-year-old Nicholas Brown and 28-year-old Markeil Hayes, who were both on parole, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. They were both arrested for suspicion of attempted robbery.
The car's driver -- who hightailed out of there -- has yet to be arrested.
