Warren G Goes Off On Def Jam For Screwing Him After He Saved the Label

Warren G has been credited with saving Def Jam.

The label was deeply in debt in 1994 when Warren's debut album Regulate...G Funk Era, dropped and that project sparked Def Jam's comeback.

However, Dr. Dre step-brother has never been made right by his label, who claim he still owes money on his all-time hit "Regulate. [Jump to five minutes.]

"It's slave type sh*t, I'm trying to get my masters back from Def Jam, they've been living of me for 30 years."

"Regulate got 235 million streams.  Where is my sh*t at ... right now it's going through two or three people before it came to me ... I saved Def Jam, it's the least you can ... Give me my mother f*cking masters.  

But I'm unrecouped?  I swear to God on one of my royalty statements I got "unrecouped for a million dollars."  That's how you know it's some bullsh*t.
