Wallo Explains What It was Like Telling Gillie Da Kid That His Son Died

by Daryl Nelson

It was the worst news that he ever had to pass on.

That's what Wallo said about telling Gillie Da Kid that his son YNG Cheese passed away.

As we reported back in July, Cheese was shot and killed in a triple shooting in North Philadelphia at 25 years old. [Jump to the 21:54 mark]

"That was the worst thing I ever told anybody,"said Wallo on Million Dollaz Worth of Game before getting emotional. "And I was like, 'Man, Cheese gone.' I never seen him like that, so it was like, in some type of way, I felt f*cked up. 'Cause it was like, I had to tell him the worst sh*t ever so I felt some type of way ...  So we was there before I leave the hospital. I was like, 'Alright, I gotta leave.' I go to the crib and I’m just f*cked up. 'Cause I’m like, 'I had to tell him that sh*t.''"

"The next day I called Gene, I’m like, 'What’s up with him, man? Is he alright?,'" Wallo continued. "'He going through it.' At that moment, I was like, 'Whatever I do, I gotta be able to put my emotions and my feelings on hold in order to take care of cuz.'"
