Wale Says Meek Mill Had No Chance Of Beating Drake

by HHL Editors

Wale should have an interesting perspective on the Drake-Meek thing, which may or may not be done with.

He's Meek Mill's MMG label mate, however things haven't always been so good between the emcees. He's also one of the bluntest interviews in the business, and he didn't hold back on the Breakfast Club when they asked him about the one-sided beef.

"It's not the right decision," he said of Meek's choice to go after Drake. "He brought a pencil to a gunfight ... Tried to paper cut him to death. Can't compete with somebody [Drake] that got them type relationships."
But he also added that Meek didn't lose just because his bars were weak:

"He could have wrote Ether 3.0 and the opinions of the people would have been that their boy from Canada waxed him," Meek said.
Then he explained that Drake had corporate behemoth Apple behind him, whereas Meek was releasing his disses through Funk Flex.

Do you agree that this was a battle Meek couldn't have possibly won?

The Drake-Meek stuff starts around the 23 minute mark. Wale also makes some interesting comments about gay artists like Frank Ocean having an advantage around 10 minutes in.
