As far as Waka Flocka Flame is concerned, only rappers should be dropping rap album.
During an Instagram Live session, Waka went in on all the DJs and producers who have been putting out albums under their name.
“When a DJ or producers gets famous, he be the one to drop an album. Nigga, you’re not a rapper,” Waka exclaims. “You’re not an artist. Stick to your fucking profession, man. Fuck!”[Related: People try to explain what DJ Khaled does.]
Waka also expressed a less controversial view about rappers who insist on still being about that life.
"One thing I can't agree with is niggas still gangbanging when they're famous. I can understand it at the beginning of your career," Waka said.
