In 2010 Waka Flocka was shot in the arm in Georgia while at Bubble Bath Car Wash.

He was asked about the incident during a newly released interview on Shannon Sharpe's Club Shay Shay podcast and said that he's thankful for it. [Head to the 31:56-mark]

“I still go to the car wash. Yeah, I know what happened, definitely, 100 percent,” said Waka. “I thank God for that, too. That was a blessing because that weekend, I was making like a quarter million [dollars] ... I was going to buy some bricks and some pounds. And that’s God that stopped me. I thank God because I was arrogant as f*ck. It turned me dark all the way… That Waka died that day, too."

Elsewhere in the interview, Waka talked about Takeoff being murdered at a dice game and said he'd never play dice with people who aren't in his tax bracket.
