Vogue Sues Drake and 21 Savage Over Fake Cover Promoting 'Her Loss'

If you didn't know any better, you would have thought Drake and 21 Savage were on the cover of Vogue.

Which would be unusual, since Vogue really has male cover models.

The image was fake.  Part of a promotional campaign for Her Loss which also included a fake Howard Stern interview and a fake SNL appearance.

But it was too real for Vogue and their parent company Conde Nast, who are now suing Drake and Savage.

They want the campaign -- which featured posters in major cities and an email blast celebrating the cover -- stopped. They also want $4 million in damages.

For his part, Howard Stern praised the fakery.

The campaign also seemed to work.  Her Loss is now trending toward a 400K opening week.  Not Taylor Swift numbers, but better than Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar, who kept their fans waiting five years since their last albums, whereas Drake is still dropping projects all the time.
