Nipsey Hussle was at his Marathon store on the day he was murdered because he was buying clothes for 56-year-old Kerry Lathan, who had just got out after serving 20 years for murder.
Lathan and another man were injured in the attack. To add insult to that injury, Lathan has now been arrested for associating with gang members, which is in violation of his probation.
The gang member he was associating with ... the late Nipsey Hussle, who police say is still a member of the Rollin 60's Crips.
Lathan was struck in his back during the March 31 shooting and is now in a wheelchair. Eric Holder, who is accused of shooting Nip and Lathan, is also allegedly a member of the Rollin 60s.
