'Uber Everywhere' Rapper MadeinTYO Is Now Boycotting Uber

by HHL Editors

MadinTYO gave Uber the kind of advertising you can't buy when his track 'Uber Everywhere' went viral.

Now he's turned on the multi-billion dollar app.

The Atlanta emcee was among those dismayed that Uber switched off surge pricing Saturday night in response to the New York Taxi Workers Alliance's announcement of an hour-long freeze on all taxi rides to and from JFK airport.

The NYTWA had instituted the temporary work stoppage in solidarity with those protesting Donald Trump's executive order banning travel from seven predominately Muslim countries.

congrats to @Uber_NYC on breaking a strike to profit off of refugees being consigned to Hell. eat shit and die https://t.co/19gbpIc9m9
