A U.S. Congresswoman Says She's Trying To Free Tory Lanez

Ever since Kelsey Harris' bodyguard said she was the one who shot her former friend, Megan Thee Stallion, the calls for Tory Lanez to be freed have grown louder.

The rapper, who says he's innocent, was sentenced to 10 years in prison after being convicted of shooting Megan. His fans have been calling for his freedom, and now he has Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna on his side as well.

Luna is a Republican who represents Florida, and she wants California Governor Gavin Newsom to free Tory. She also brought up Tory being stabbed a number of times in prison last week.

"I am asking @cagovernor to review evidence in #ToryLanez case and issue a pardon," wrote Luna on Instagram. "His 10-year sentence was based on flawed evidence, political pressure, and prosecutorial bias. The evidence speaks for itself! He is an innocent man that had been wrongly incarcerated! Justice must be blind! Free Tory Lanez."

"Tory Lanez was recently stabbed 14 times in prison," her message continued. "After more evidence was presented by his team this week, it has led to further conversation about his innocence and a petition with over a quarter of a million signatures requesting he be pardoned."

Luna added that she has additional evidence of Tory's innocence that will be released in the next day and a half.

We have compelling evidence proving Tory Lanez’s innocence, and it will be released within the next 36 hours. Those who rushed to call for his incarceration, and worse yet pushed false evidence, should prepare to be held accountable.
