Tyler, The Creator used to be a big fan of Eminem. But he's been souring on him for a while and he pissed off Marshall last year when he said that "Walk On Water" was horrible.

Stuff has died down as of late, but the topic came back up when Tyler visited Funk Flex on his Hot 97 show.

While speaking with Flex, Tyler explained his opinion of Eminem’s music has changed over the years.

Tyler said he loved Relapse, but he understood why Em switched his style on Recovery

Recovery was like, 'This is the aesthetic and what I wanna go with.’ And he went 100 percent with what he liked on there… People trashed it, and he came with the Recovery shit with the pop hooks. The shit worked, and everyone gave high fives. The fans that didn’t really like it [said,] ‘I want the old Em. I want the Marshall Mathers LP Em.’ It feels like he read that, and was like, ‘Damn, you know what? Fuck, let me go back and try to rehash a moment.’ And when people go back, that is the grossest fucking thing. Move forward, get what you’re into for real.

Peep the full clip below. The Eminem part comes in around 33:00.
