Tyler, The Creator & American Airlines Disagree On Whether He's On Terrorism No Fly List

by HHL JT

Tyler, The Creator has a history of being banned from countries.

Now he's claiming he's also been banned from the friendly skies.

Tyler jumped on Twitter early this morning and said he just found out he's on American Airlines no-fly list.

Ha, I’m on American Air no-fly terrorist list, what the hell did I do," Tyler typed.

American Airlines responded two minutes later, saying they'll look into it.

We'd like to look into this. Send us a quick DM with your record locator.

They apparently didn't have to look very hard. A company spokesman told NME that not only doesn't American Airlines have a no-fly list, but that Tyler is currently on one of their flights.

“American does not have a terrorism watch list. That list is controlled by the FBI,” he said. “But since Tyler, The Creator, is flying with us today and is currently on one of our flights, the tweet is not accurate.”

Well then.
