Lean's been back in the news, thanks to Lil Wayne.

While Weezy's peeps insist that double cupping it had nothing to do with his latest seizures -- for which he was just released from the hospital -- there are many doubts.

Perhaps that's what Ty Dolla $ign had on his mind when TMZ asked him if he thinks lean is dead.

"Lean is dead," Ty declared, after bragging about how much weed he smokes.

Then he thought about it for a second -- perhaps considering the habits of his collaborators -- and softened his answer.

"Do what you want to do, you feel me? If it makes you feel good, do what you want to do."

Old heads like Master P and RZA have been telling the rappers to lay off the lean for some time now.
