Two Of Bobby Shmurda's GS9 Associates Convicted Of Murder

Bobby Shmurda still hasn't received his proper day in court.

But two of his GS9 associates just did, and it didn't go well for them.

Rashid 'Rasha' Derissant and Alex 'A-Rod' Crandon, who were picked up with Shmurda in December of 2014, have been convicted of the 2013 murder of a rival gang member.

“As indicated by their verdict, the jurors in this trial heard evidence describing a cold blooded murder, wild gunplay and a terrifying disregard for the safety of innocent bystanders as the defendants tried to violently settle scores with rivals in New York City and beyond,” said Special Narcotics Prosecutor Bridget G. Brennan.
Among the charges the jury found the pair guilty of are second degree murder, second degree attempted murder, first and second degree assault and first degree criminal use of a firearm. They face sentencing on May 17.

It's unclear what effect -- if any -- this will have on Shmurda's trial, which is expected to begin May 11.

But there's little question that Bobby knew "Rasha" and "A-Rod" pretty well. In fact, he shouted them out in his mega-hit 'Hot Nigga.'

But GS for my gun squad And bitch if it's a problem we gon' gun brawl Shots poppin' out the AR I'm with Trigger, I'm with Rasha, I'm with A-Rod Broad daylight and we gon' let 'em things bark
