Twitter Weighs On In The Two New Kanye Tracks

by HHL JT

After a couple of weeks of furious Tweeting, Kanye West dropped two songs last night.

The first, "Lift Yourself", was a troll with bars of gibberish and poop.

The second, the T.I. featured "Ye vs. The People", had Kanye and Tip debating Ye's love of Donald Trump. (So it was also a borderline troll track.)

Here's how Twitter is reacting to the new Kanye.

Kanye just trolled the fuck out of Ebro on "Lift Yourself". You know damn well Ebro was hyped thinking Kanye had bars for him and hit him with "scoopidity poop". Kanye has reached master level of trolling.

Kanye’s song “Lift Yourself” reminds of back in the day, when you got catfished tryna download a new song off Limewire.

I felt that.

Kanye just dropped an alternate version of "Lift Yourself" that was co-produced by . . .

Jerry Seinfeld?

Lift Yourself was a troll.

Ye vs The People with @Tip was actually good and has me thinking I may have overreacted a bit to Kanye's political beliefs

What’s great about Ye vs. The People is that he acknowledged us and gave us a voice through Tip. He could’ve just made it about himself but he knew it was bigger than that. The whole point is that we can agree to disagree and still be civil.

I believe @kanyewest made a political album and predicted all the contoversy of how people were gunna react to his opinions at the same time using it as promotion, hes proving his point. Genius.

Y’all dumb as hell if you listen to “ye vs. the people” and just sweep everything that nigga has said n done under the rug with them basic ass rhymes 🤷🏾‍♀️ and no all black people don’t have to be democrats but aligning yourself w/bullshit ain’t they way either

Problem with it is he ain't doing what he says he's doing on that Ye vs. The People track. And I don't wanna hear 1 diehard kanye fan try to come for me rn talking about "no you're wrong" since kanye supposedly all about "free thinking". Let me think freely then

This “Ye Vs. The People” song is fucking terrible and serves as maybe the 10th reminder to me this week to always kill your idols
