In addition to being a battle rapper, Tsu Surf held a leadership position with the Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips in New Jersey.
He admitted to that and more while pleading guilty to RICO charges in a New Jersey federal court this week.
Surf, accused of shooting at a rival gang member and possessing two weapons, faces up to 20 years on the racketeering charge and another ten on the weapons charges.
The 33-year old will be sentenced on September 12.
Surf was arrested by federal agents in October after a standoff with police.
