Troy Ave Posts Footage Of His Crew Abandoning Him In Irving Plaza Shooting

by Daryl Nelson

Troy Ave is out to prove that his friends let him down during that Irving Plaza shooting. Yesterday, the Brooklyn rapper posted a video that showed his former friend and manager Hovain walking away after shots were fired.

According to Troy, Hovain claimed that he never made it to the part of the building where the drama went down. Troy also showed footage of another former friend Young Lito leaving the area, to prove that he and his slain bodyguard Ronald "Banga" McPhatter were left abandoned.

It's been almost a year since the incident at Irving Plaza. Troy was arrested after the shooting, and since making bail he's been on an all-out campaign to call some folks out.

The New York rhymer believes he's the only one who's stayed true to the street code because he didn't name names and confronted the shooter instead of fleeing.

But shouldn't Troy be focusing on his legal situation right now, considering he's been hit with five felony charges and still faces 20 years?
