by HHL JT

When Trippie Redd dropped his sophomore album ! last week track five was "They Afraid of You" featuring Playboi Carti.

That track is no longer available on most streaming services, leading some to say that Trippie removed it because Playboi had the best verse on his album.

Due to fans saying that Playboi Carti has the only good verse on Trippie Redd’s “!” album, Trippie has removed “They Afraid of You (feat. Playboi Carti)” from the album pic.twitter.com/ghXJrnh2Nb

We're thinking it's more likely it was some sort of clearance issue. Anyway, you can still listen to the song on Soundcloud and decided if it was because Playboi was just too good.

Update: In a new interview with HotNewHipHop, Redd would neither confirm nor deny he took Carti's verse off because it was too good.

"I should just let them be theories, they can just come up with theories about Playboi Carti. We just gon' leave 'em in the blind," he said.
