Trick Daddy doubled down on his opinion that Beyoncé can't sing and Jay-Z isn't the greatest rapper alive. He also seemed to say that Nicki Minaj's fans The Barbz are better than Beyoncé's fans The BeyHive.
"Beyoncé ain’t trying to give back to music or nothing,"Trick was heard saying on audio footage earlier this week. "Beyoncé don’t write music and barely can sing her motherf*cking self. Beyoncé can't sing. Beyoncé is to R&B what Jay-Z is to New York. That's why they together. Jay-Z ain't never won the greatest rapper alive. Whoever put him on a level like that? New York needed a hero after Biggie died and so people handed the title over to Jay."
Trick's comments obviously caused a stir, and he spoke about the superstar couple again on his 99 Jamz radio show.
"That's my opinion. I've said many times on the radio that they're wonderful business people," said Trick. "Jigga made a lot of money, he got a whole lotta money. But did I say anything disrespectful? No. Did I call them out they names? No, I didn't."
Then on Instagram Stories, Trick made his comment about The Barbz being better than The BeyHive.
