Travis Scott to Join Maroon 5's Super Bowl Halftime Show

A lot of folks in the Hip Hop community weren't happy when the NFL picked Maroon 5 to play the halftime show at this year's Super Bowl in Atlanta.

The snub of the city's many rappers as the headline act, combined with lingering bitterness over the Colin Kaepernick situation, led to speculation that no rappers would don the stage with Adam Levine and the boys.

That speculation appears to be unfounded.

According to TMZ, Travis Scott will be a part of Maroon 5's set. Their sources also claim the band is in discussions for guest appearances from their old friend Cardi B and from OG ATlien Big Boi. Cardi was among those who had said she was boycotting the NFL until Kaepernick gets a job.

Super Bowl LIII will take place on February 3.
