Travis Scott Names Hip Hop's 2 Best Artists (& His Biggest Inspiration)

By HHL Editors

Travis Scott is covering this month's Paper mag as "Hip Hop's New Rock Star.'

In the pages, Laflame names Birds Of The Trap Sing Mcknight contributors Kendrick Lamar and Andre 3ooo as the two best in the game.

“I look at them as the best artists, so for them to come to my world and rap with me is crazy,” he said of K.Dot and 3 Stacks.
But when it comes to the artist who's had the most influence on him, Scott goes in another direction, talking up Kid Cudi.

“He was like the guy that could rap, make a hook, and make a beat, and do a video and show you the life. That’s what I strive to be,” the 24-year-old said of Cudi.
Cudi's been having a rough time lately, so hopefully he can find some comfort in Scott's nice words.
