Today was supposed to be the day that Tory Lanez was sentenced for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot in 2020
However, the judge granted the defense more time to prepare and he will now get sentenced on August 7.
The prosecutors have already recommended 13 years.
The most he could get is 23 years.
In December of 2022, Lanez was found guilty on charges of assault with a semiautomatic handgun, having a loaded and unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and gross negligence in discharging his firearm.
He's been locked up since.
