Tory Lanez Tells Judge Not To 'Ruin' His Life In Court Hearing

by Daryl Nelson

Tory Lanez and his lawyers sat for a hearing on Monday, May 8, which was related to the rapper seeking a new trial in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting.

He was found guilty in December for the 2020 shooting and is facing over two decades in prison.

During the hearing, Tory's lawyers,  Matthew Barhoma and Jose Baez, said their client's previous attorney George Mgdesyan was “ineffective counsel."

They also said Tory's DNA wasn't on the gun used in the shooting.

As it stands, a new trial isn't looking very good for the "LUV" creator.  And based on what Tory told the judge, it's possible that he sensed that.

“Please don’t ruin my life. I could be your son. I could be your brother," he said to him before being escorted out in handcuffs.

Again, from the way it appears, Tory has an uphill battle in front of him regarding a new trial.
