There's A New Theory Floating Around About Why Tekashi 6ix9ine Was Jumped

TMZ reported today that Tekashi 6ix9ine is now being kept in a locked room for safety after getting jumped in a South Florida gym on Tuesday.

The reason for the beating hasn't been revealed, as it could be due to Tekashi testifying against the Nine Trey Gangsters or related to one of his many beefs.

There's another theory as well: That Tekashi was jumped for siding with Mexico in a game versus Puerto Rico in the World Baseball Classic last week. 

The rapper was seen waving the Mexican flag at one point and someone threw a beer at him.

Tekashi was also seen arguing with someone about why he only acknowledges his mother's Mexican heritage and not his father's Puerto Rican background.
