The Weeknd's new track with Gaseffelstein, "Lost In The Fire", appears to take a shot at Drake and his (no longer) secret son Adonis.
"And I just want a baby with the right one
(I just want a baby with the right—)
'Cause I could never be the one to hide one
(I could never be the one to hide—)," Abel sings.
While there is some debate as to whether Weeknd is saying "hide" or "hurt", the Weeknd-verified lyrics on Genius read "hide." Which would be a fairly obvious reference to his fellow Canadian Drake. Plus, in the official video, Weeknd uses his hand to hide his mouth when he sings the line.
Drake and The Weeknd have worked together in the past, but Drake has always felt a way about how much credit Weeknd gets for Drake's album Take Care.
