The Weeknd is adding actor to his resume, snagging a role the much-anticipated Safdie brothers film Uncut Gems.
The Diamond District-based crime dramedy stars Adam Sandler, Atlanta's Lakeith Stanfield, Idina Menzel, Pom Klementief (Mantis, to all you Marvel fans) and NBA legend Kevin Garnett.
The Weeknd will be playing himself in the film, so he won't have to do too much acting.
Uncut Gems is scheduled to be released on December 13, 2019.
