The Weeknd's smash hit "Blinding Lights" has done something no song has ever done.

This week, the track became the first song in Spotify's history to amass 4 billion streams.

Spotify has only existed since 2006 and didn't become widely popular until about 2012.  As such, older songs never got the chance to be that popular on the platform.

Nevertheless, that's quite an accomplishment for Abel, who's said to be working on a new album.
