The Game Explains Why He Doesn't Believe In Saving His Money

by Daryl Nelson

The Game has been going on a press run for his upcoming Drillmatic album, and he recently talked about feeling hurt over not being asked to perform at this year's Super Bowl.

One of Game's latest interviews is with Complex, where the Compton rhymer said he's not into saving his money. He also admitted to spending $13 million that he had.

“I spent that for sure,” said The Game about the $13 mil. "I don’t believe in like saving your money. For what? In these days, money ain’t even money. It’s like, on the phone. I like cash. I grew up like Scarface, New Jack City, where you can see money… Like, I can be standing next to Elon Musk, it doesn’t mean that he’s richer than me in life, it just means that he has more numbers on his f*cking phone … [Being] rich is in your soul.”

Do you get The Game's reasoning?
