The City Barricaded Nipsey Hussle's Marathon Store For His Birthday

by HHL JT

Nipsey Hussle would have been 34 today.

Fans hoping to celebrate his birthday at his Marathon Store -- which is where he died -- will have to do so staring at a chain-link fence topped by barbed wire.

The massive barrier was erected by the city of Los Angeles in a clear attempt to discourage any born-day gatherings for Nip.

The LAPD will also have more than 100 officers near the Slauson and Crenshaw intersection where the store is located today.

Last month, we learned that the LAPD  were secretly investigating Nipsey Hussle for gang activity and possible arrest up until the time his death. They were particularly interested in activities involving the Marathon store.

Nipsey family will hold a private ceremony for his birthday in an undisclosed location.
