The Audio Of Kanye West's 'Saturday Night Live' Meltdown Has Leaked

by HHL Editors

Rumor had it that Kanye West had a pretty intense meltdown right before his Saturday Night Live appearance last weekend, and almost ditched the show altogether.

Now audio of the incident has leaked to the New York Post's Page Six, and it doesn't disappoint.

In the brief clip, 'Ye calls Taylor Swift a "fake ass", tells folks not to fuck with him, and claims he is 50 percent more influential than any other human being "dead or alive" and for "the next thousand years."

Rhymefest, who stopped working with his old friend because he believes Kanye is mentally ill, is looking more and more correct every day.

Update: Kanye's camp has confirmed the audio is real, and have responded to it:

He did NOT yell at SNL staff. This audio was secretly recorded while he was venting his frustration in a private moment with his team. He found out his stage design was changed and taken apart under the direction of the show's lighting director without anyone's approval. He had spent an entire day rehearsing and a lot of hard work into the performance. Dramatic set changes were made 30 minutes before going live. It should be understandable why he was upset after being completely blindsided. Kanye was seen hugging Lorne Michaels just before the goodnights and he stayed afterwards to chat with the staff and the cast, and thanked the producers on his way out the door
